EVERYTHING IS TRUE – NOTHING IS PERMITTED, curated by Kendell Geers, is both a celebration of the power of art and an uncompromising protest against a market that reduces art to a purely economic product.

This group exhibition brings together artists such as Marina Abramovic, Cassils, Kara Walker, and Arthur Jafa—artists who refuse to make decorative art. They tackle police violence, racism, beauty standards, and power inequality. Without moralizing, they reveal what art can be: a language to grasp the madness and traumas of our time.

When Art Breaks a Boundary

Through photography, video, installations, and performance, this exhibition offers a glimpse of the world through the eyes of artists who have suffered for their art, gender, and identity—transforming their pain into resilience. In a world fractured by aesthetic violence and political extremism, the body becomes the last frontier, and our senses the battlefield.

Curated by Kendell Geers, at Brutus Rotterdam, in collaboration with A/POLITICAL. A/POLITICAL is a London-based platform for artists whose work, due to its controversial nature, struggles to find a place in conventional art institutions.
