Tour

On Sunday, September 15, you can visit both locations of the Frans Hals Museum completely free of charge. Between 1 pm and 4 pm, you can join a free 20-minute guided tour about the history of the buildings every 15 minutes. The guide will tell you about the various functions of the Meat Hall, the Fish House and the Verwey Hall at the Grote Markt over the years.

The Art of Drag

Visiting without a guided tour is also possible. Both locations are open to the public on this day between 11 am and 5 pm. At the HAL location at the Grote Markt, you can see the exhibition The Art of Drag.

Stroll

Between the two locations, you can take a stroll. Walk through 17th century Haarlem in the footsteps of Frans Hals as you follow the free podwalk. No ticket reservation is required for this day. Just stop by and discover the stories about both monuments.

The guided tours are in Dutch. However, the podwalk and audio tour are also available in English.
