The gentlemen of De Haar slept in room 3 during their September stay. The room was designed at the end of the nineteenth century for Baron Etienne. He wanted a luxurious and chic room, according to the trends of the time. So no Gothic interior! An abomination for architect Pierre Cuypers, who therefore gladly left the design to his son Joseph.
The room was completely attuned to the baron, with as technical highlight a bell cord, with which he could summon staff to his room.
