SCHUNCK is a museum for visual arts and architecture, a public library, a music school and a dance studio. SCHUNCK pushes the boundaries of both major art forms and their audience, focusing on contemporary visual arts and architecture. The museum hosts exhibitions and provides educational programs both in the Glaspaleis and elsewhere in the city.
The International Union of Architects listed the Glaspaleis as one of the 1000 most important buildings of the 20th century. Both inside the building and out, contemporary visual arts and architecture interact with the city and the world.
