In Stadskasteel Zaltbommel, well-known residents tell the history of the Bommelerwaard, a region in Gelderland, from the Eighty Years’ War, or Dutch Revolt, to the present. Come see the permanent exhibition on illustrator Fiep Westerdorp, known for her collaboration with writer Annie M.G. Schmidt in creating iconic children’s book characters Jip and Janneke.
