Gas mask for babies
The British government provided gas masks to the civilian population to protect against gas attacks during World War II. This gas mask was specially made for babies. The entire body except the legs could be put in. The little arms could also go into the gas maker so that the child could suck on its thumb if necessary. Through the glass screen, the mother could see how the child was doing.
