Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd, along with its Coach House and park, is one of the most remarkable national monuments in the Netherlands and is located just a stone's throw from Utrecht. Because the house has never been intensively inhabited, many original elements have been preserved. A famous example is the unique hand-painted Chinese wallpaper from the 18th century. Today, you can visit exhibitions on art, science, and history.
